Short Biography

I undertook my undergraduate studies in the UK, at Durham University. There I obtained my Masters in Chemistry (MChem). For my fourth year research project, I was supervised by Dr Ivana Evans. The aim of my project was to synthesise and characterise a selection of families of metal oxides. Following synthesis and characterisation, these materials were tested for their photocatalytic capabilities for the degradation of an organic dye, Rhodamine B.

Research Summary

My research project is on synthesising and structurally characterising metal filled carbon nanotubes. These metal filled carbon nanotubes will be synthesised via chemical vapour deposition (CVD).
